Cloverfield.
I’ve been really excited for this movie since the 4th of July when me and my best friend Nicole went to go see Transformers. It looked INCREDIBLE!! I hate that I keep looking up information on the monster. I wish it would have been a surprise. I mean it still is because there is no 100% certified picture or anything about it. Except I think I did stumble upon it. :(
anyway, I don’t want to give TOO much of the stuff I’ve researched away, just in case you don’t want to know anything about the monster. The thing I really want to talk about is how people still think the monster is Godzilla. I will admit that I thought it was Godzilla when we saw the trailer. But, there are just a few things wrong with this.
1) Why would Godzilla leave Japan? No really. Did he get evicted or something?
2) Why New York? Did he see a classified in the newspaper?
3) To get to NY he would need to travel around North America through the Arctic Ocean. Assuming he wanted to travel the shortest distance. Otherwise he would need to go around North AND South America. If he was attacking ANY of the western cities like LA. And I DOUBT he would travel across the land because how the HELL would he be able to cross the US without anyone noticing??
4) J.J Abrams said it was a NEW monster. Not one that is been crapily remade about 10 times (at least).
5) It’s NOT Godzilla.
Sorry to burst your bubble. If you want to know what I think, ask me. I have some ideas (that are WAY more likely than Godzilla.)
